SYRIAN CRISIS IS OUR COLLECTIVE FAILURE

The Middle East crisis is the result of the arrogance of white or western world to impose forcibly itself on the third world. When George W. Bush was in power he destroyed Afghanistan and Iraq. The entire world watched helplessly how western powers led by the USA, aided by their propaganda machinery established the lies about WMDs (Weapons of Mass Destruction) as truth.

It was claimed that the Iraqi dictator poses a threat to world peace. What an Irony? After the attack world community realized the scale of lies manufactured by George W. Bush. Americans opposed the war after the death of hundreds of US soldiers. Attack on Afghanistan was comparatively justified as it was a lawless nation run by religious warlords aided and abetted by Pakistan.

When Obama came to power, he proved that he is the same and represents the same outlook but in a different wrapper. He ensured that the US does all it can to destabilize non-friendly regimes in the middle east. Libya and Syria were comparatively peaceful nations. Just to give a picture of ground realities. Both the countries were exceedingly well in all socioeconomic parameters. They were ahead than most of the Asian and African nations. Taking cues from policymakers, western media outlets launched a smear campaign to demonize the leaders of Middle Eastern nations who refused to follow the diktats of the US and its allies.

Media coined the slogan ‘Asad must go. Why he should go was explained by western intellectuals. He was demonized as a brutal dictator who crushes political opponents, exploits and oppresses his own citizens. The western world was shown as doing justice. It thinks itself as the saviour of the world. It acts so convincingly that at times the word ‘hypocrisy’ withers away from dictionaries. One doubts the purpose of its existence.

There is one plain and simple truth. Nobody can deny it. West has comparatively a better system of creating a government and transferring power from one set of people to another. At present their democratic system has no viable alternative. However, it cannot be rammed into the throats of people living in non-democratic nations. It is a moral, social and political right of every nation state to do all it can to protect itself from western aggression.

West exploits and crushes the weaker third world nations only because they cannot defend themselves. There are many other nations where governments are puppets of US leg west. They also have a non-democratic system, but because they are pro-US, their brutal regimes are supported by West.

People still have not forgotten that one of the arguments given to justify the attack on Afghanistan was the liberation of women. What Saudi Arabia does to its political opponents has been forgotten. How it treats women have also been ignored. Why only some nations are targeted by the west, while others sharing the trait are ignored.

Asad regime in Syria was almost toppled western world. How they did it is equally amazing. They encouraged disgruntled Syrians living outside Syria to form an armed militant group. West provided arms and ammunition and training to these terrorist groups to attack Syria. Russians intervened at the last moment and reversed the advances made by these rebellions.  Otherwise, they would have killed Asad together with his family and all those who represent his government.

Can anyone justify this kind of brutal interventions in the affairs of other nation? Today it is Syria. Tomorrow it could be anyone. Just imagine if the US decides to change the regime in India and it starts arming Indians dissatisfied with the functioning government in India. Then those Indians start attacking India from all corners. Is this a civilized world is forced to behave.

The US would like to do the same with China. But the US and other western powers would not dare to do it, because the Chinese government is powerful. It can defend itself. Libya and Syria could not, so they were attacked. Next will be Iran and North Korea. As an Asian and dark-skinned man, it is painful to watch the condition of people living in the Middle East. Innocent Syrians were maimed and killed by crisis created by West. The well functioning Syrian society crumbled because of the arrogance of the white world.

Except for Russia, which saved the world from fascism in the Second World War, the entire first world is hell-bent on capturing and installing pro west regimes all over the world. There is a racial angle to the conflict. Western arrogance is misplaced. The only lasting solution to the current crisis is US withdrawal. It must stop support to rebels. Syrian regime must be helped to bring normalcy and rebuild the nation.

In the long run, it will help the west more than it will benefit Syria. Reconstruction of Syria must involve bringing back more than a million Syrian refugees from Europe, who can dismantle Europe culturally by bringing an alien cultural value system. If the Syrian regime agrees to take back refugees, Europe will be better off. Otherwise -it must not forget that every Muslim has the potential to be inculcated as a soldier of Allah. Multiculturalism has already failed in the West. It will be Trojan horse for the west, if it did not correct the wrongs done by it in the Middle East.

With Trump, the world is walking on the path of clash of civilization. West is powerful and destined to win but not without paying a heavy price for it. The whole white world together with Russia still has the potential to rule for a century, if not more. Syria might have lost a lot in this conflict, but it angered many across the globe.

end.
